ATLANTA – Matt Ryan is getting more help from his receivers than any other quarterback in the NFC South.

Atlanta receivers have dropped only nine passes this season. Only five teams in the NFL have dropped fewer.

The Buccaneers have dropped 13 passes, and the Panthers and Saints each have dropped 17, which puts them in a tie for sixth place in the league.

Carolina’s Steve Smith is tied for second in the league with six drops. Tampa Bay rookie Mike Williams has dropped five passes. New Orleans’ Marques Colston and Atlanta tight end Tony Gonzalez each have dropped four passes.
