Although there had been indications New Orleans running back Reggie Bush might make his return against Seattle, that’s not going to happen.

Bush, who is recovering from a broken leg, has been declared inactive. A short turnaround for the Thanksgiving game at Dallas might have played into the decision to sit Bush for another game.

Bush isn’t the only significant New Orleans player inactive today. Defensive backs Malcolm Jenkins, Patrick Robinson and Darren Sharper, running back Pierre Thomas and tight end Jeremy Shockey also are inactive because of injuries.

Linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar and offensive lineman Charles Brown also are inactive for the Saints.
