The compensation the Bucs will receive from last week's trade of tight end Alex Smith to New England reportedly is a fifth-round pick in 2010.
That's interesting because it gives the Bucs a fifth-round pick, which they were lacking. They had given up their fifth-round pick next year as part of the trade for Kellen Winslow (the deal also included this year's second-round pick).
So, basically, you can say the Bucs got Winslow for a second-round pick.
