Rookie punter Thomas Morstead met with the New Orleans media during Friday's minicamp practice and you have to respect his attitude.

Morstead's in a tough spot because a lot of Saints' fans have questioned the team trading up to draft him in the fifth round. A lot of fans thought the Saints should have gotten a running back if they were trading up -- or even if they had stayed put in the seventh round.

Morstead was asked by the media if he feels like every punt will be scrutinized by fans as he competes with Glenn Pakulak during training camp this summer.

"I could care less really about that,'' Morstead said. "I'm harder on myself than anybody else could be. Coaches have told me not to worry about it and hit the next one, which I do, but I'm very hard on myself.''
