Before I left to take some time off, I asked you to help pick an all-decade team for the NFC South.

I'll begin working my way through your responses shortly and will work on putting together a consensus on your team. But it's not too late to get your votes in. I won't announce the team until late this week. If you haven't filled out a ballot already, please send it to my mailbag or post it in the comments section below this entry. If you don't mind copying, cutting and pasting, your best bet is to put it in both places to make sure it doesn't get overlooked.

Just a quick rehash of the rules. The team is for this decade (that's the 2000 season through now). We're picking an offense (standard pro set), a defense (4-3 scheme), a kicker, punter, return man and a coach. To qualify a player has to have spent a large amount of this decade playing in the NFC South.

In other words, Atlanta tight end Tony Gonzalez doesn't count. Until joining the Falcons in the spring, he had been with Kansas City for the entire decade. Let's take it one step further and set a rule that a player has to have spent at least three seasons in the NFC South (this decade) to be eligible. Fire away with your votes.
