BRISTOL, Conn. -- I’m at blog network minicamp up here at headquarters. AFC West colleague Bill Williamson and I are in the weight room right now trying to get a workout in before the festivities really get started.

I’ll be keeping an eye on the computer and cell phone, but it may be tough for me to write much once we get into meetings. Keep an eye on the “headlines’’ section on our main NFL page for any breaking news throughout the day and I’ll check back in whenever I can.

Meantime, a few quick NFC South links of interest.

Bucs offensive tackle Donald Penn says he’s motivated by being left off a recent list of the top 100 players by the NFL Network.

George Frye, the man who has filed a civil suit against Jon Beason said the Carolina linebacker “pummeled’’ him in an incident at a Charlotte nightclub. Beason has said he never hit Frye. In a related note, Frye never has been seen at the same time and place as Aqib Talib’s favorite taxi driver.
