A very optimistic Roddy White just appeared on NFL Network.
The Atlanta Falcons wide receiver said he expects the lockout to be lifted soon. He also expects to report to the team’s facility in Flowery Branch, Ga., in the next day or two to sign a card with his vote for the players to recertify as a union and to have a physical. White said he expects training camp later this week.
Most important of all, White said he believes the Falcons, who had a well-organized offseason program for players, will be in excellent shape coming out of the lockout.
“I think that’s probably the biggest key to our team,’’ White said. “We’ve got our coaching staff in place, so we can just go. Everything is A-OK if everybody can come through the door healthy.’’
