All signs in Tampa seem to point toward Brian Griese getting the start Sunday against Atlanta.

There's no official announcement and there won't be until practice ends later this afternoon. But the open locker room media session just ended without Griese or Jeff Garcia showing up. Center Jeff Faine said that during the pre-practice walkthrough, Griese took the first team snaps and Garcia was in the training room.

If you want to read a little more into that, remember that coach Jon Gruden said the other day that whoever is the starting quarterback needs to get lots of practice reps. If Garcia, who has an ankle injury, doesn't practice this afternoon, we'll almost certainly see Griese on Sunday.
