ATLANTA -- I’ll be heading over to the Georgia Dome in a bit to get ready to cover Thursday night’s game between the Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars. Before I go, let’s take a quick trip through the headlines around the rest of the NFC South.

Although there is a lot of gloomy speculation about Raheem Morris’ future, the Tampa Bay coach said that all comes from the outside. He said things remain pleasant around One Buccaneer Place.

Carolina rookie quarterback Cam Newton and veteran receiver Steve Smith could be playing together in the Pro Bowl.

New Orleans running back Mark Ingram (turf toe) and linebacker Jonathan Casillas (knee) missed another day of practice.

I'll touch base once I get into the Georgia Dome with any pregame news and notes and I'll have the inactives roughly 90 minutes before kickoff.
