After a disastrous outing by Michael Clayton in Philadelphia on Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be looking to shake up their wide receivers.
Our Chris Mortensen reports the Bucs will work out former Jacksonville receiver Matt Jones on Tuesday.
Not really a surprise after Clayton had at least three drops against the Eagles and Antonio Bryant had two. The Bucs don’t have many other options at wide receiver with career backup Maurice Stovall and rookie Sammie Stroughter as the top reserves.
Jones has had some off-field problems and never came close to living up to his status as a first-round draft pick with the Jaguars. But a good workout could earn him a fresh start with the Bucs.
