This week’s power rankings are out and not much has changed with the NFC South. It’s heavy at the top and bottom and has nothing in between.
The Saints stayed at No. 4 and that’s no surprise, partly because they didn’t play this past weekend and partly because the top three spots remained unchanged. The Saints have a big chance to move up Sunday when they host the No. 2 Giants.
The Falcons, despite an impressive road win in San Francisco moved up only one spot. They’re now No. 8.
On the flip side, the Panthers got their first win and moved up three spots to No. 23. The Bucs remained at No. 31 and should be very happy for the existence of the St. Louis Rams.
