New Orleans tight end Jimmy Graham has been able to hold onto one thing: his league lead in dropped passes.
After a crucial drop in Sunday’s loss to the New York Giants, Graham now has 10 for the season, according to ESPN Stats & Information. However, we should note that New England’s Wes Welker has moved into a tie with Graham.
The Saints, who are second in the league with 33 team drops, also have some other players high on the list. Running back Darren Sproles is tied for third place with eight drops and receiver Marques Colston has six.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are tied for No. 27 with 16 drops and Doug Martin has seven of them. But it should be noted the rookie running back hasn’t had a drop in more than a month. It also should be noted that Vincent Jackson is one of only six receivers around the league who has been targeted at least 40 times and has yet to drop a pass.
The Carolina Panthers are No. 30 with only 14 drops.
