ATLANTA -- Even the most pessimistic of Atlanta fans might be able to start relaxing. At least a little.

The Falcons are 30 minutes from winning their first playoff game since the 2004 season and the first since the arrival of coach Mike Smith and quarterback Matt Ryan in 2008. We all know that Smith and Ryan are 0-3 in the playoffs.

But, barring a collapse of epic proportions, they’re going to get their first postseason win.

At halftime, the Falcons are leading the Seattle Seahawks, 20-0, at the Georgia Dome.

The Falcons have played nearly a perfect half. Their offense has been clicking and their defense has kept Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch mostly in check.

Will it continue?

We’ll find out very soon. I’ll be back with a Rapid Reaction as soon as the game ends.
