Brees on pace for 4,528 yards

METAIRIE, La. -- The NFL’s public relations office just passed along an interesting chart about quarterbacks who are on pace to throw for 4,000 yards this season.

There are 10 of them, including New Orleans’ Drew Brees. The record for 4,000-yard passers in a season is seven (2007). Dan Marino holds the record for the most passing yards in a season with 5,084 (1984).

Here’s a look at the quarterbacks on pace for 4,000 this year.
