NFC South Top 25: No. 10

July, 8, 2013
We continue my NFC South Top 25 with No. 10:

Roddy White, wide receiver, Falcons

What he did in 2012: White had 92 catches for 1,351 yards and seven touchdowns while helping the Falcons reach the NFC Championship Game.

Why he’s No. 10 in 2013: White is 31, but he hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. He has grown into a very polished and mature receiver that no longer gets by solely on his physical skills. The Falcons have become a pass-first offense and that’s why there are enough balls to go around for White, Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez. White and Jones might form the best starting receiver tandem in the league and I only expect them to get better after the addition of Steven Jackson. He should provide a little bit of a threat in the running game and that will mean defenses won’t be able to devote as much attention to Jones and White.
