We’ve heard lots of talk about how bad the Falcons have been on the road this season. They’ve only won once away from the Georgia Dome.

But maybe their road woes shouldn’t be such a big concern Sunday when they play at the New York Giants. History has shown that when these two teams get together, the road team has the edge.

In the last 12 meetings between the Falcons and Giants, the road team has won every time. That’s the longest such streak in NFL history. Here’s a look at the longest winning streaks by road teams in a head-to-head series.

  • 12: ATL vs. NYG, Oct. 25, 1981-Oct. 15, 2007 (Active)
  • 10: CIN vs. IND, Oct. 11, 1981- Sept. 3, 1995
  • 8: KC vs. SD, Oct. 27, 1974- Oct. 23, 1977
  • 8: PIT vs. WAS, Oct. 1 1950-Dec. 13, 1953
