Power rankings: Saints stay No. 1

Our latest edition of the power rankings is out and the Saints remain at No. 1.
The voters kept them on top, even though New Orleans had a very narrow escape in St. Louis. The Saints face Tampa Bay on the road this week and should be 10-0 heading into a huge “Monday Night Football’’ game with New England.
The Saints are the division’s only top-10 team. The Falcons tumbled to No. 14 after their loss to Carolina. The Panthers have been making a gradual rise in recent weeks. They’re up to No. 20.
For the first time in recent memory, Tampa Bay has climbed out of the 30s. The Bucs are No. 29 and they’ve been helped by the Browns and Lions being so bad.
