Buccaneers trailing at halftime

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ three-game winning streak appears to be in serious jeopardy.

At halftime, the Carolina Panthers hold a 17-6 lead on the Bucs. And there haven’t been may positive omens for Tampa Bay.

The running game has been bottled up completely and that’s putting pressure on rookie quarterback Mike Glennon. He had a costly turnover when he lost a fumble deep in Carolina territory that, at very least, cost the Bucs a field goal.

Tampa Bay’s defense has played well in spurts, but the Bucs did allow Cam Newton to scramble for 56 yards to set up a first-quarter touchdown pass.

Feel free to join us for our live chat. I’ll be back with full coverage after the game.
