ATLANTA -- Atlanta Falcons offensive lineman Garrett Reynolds, who lost his starting job at right guard, is inactive for the first time this season as the Falcons prepare to face the Carolina Panthers.

Reynolds had been used lately as the extra offensive lineman in the heavy package.

Linebacker Sean Weatherspoon is inactive due to a knee injury, while running back Jacquizz Rodgers is inactive coming off a concussion. Stephen Nicholas should get more opportunities at linebacker with Weatherspoon out, while Jason Snelling will fill Rodgers' role as the primary kick returner.

Also inactive for the Falcons are safety Sean Baker, defensive tackle Adam Replogle, tackle Terren Jones, and tackle Sean Locklear.
