ESPN’s Stats & Information had one bit of information about Thursday night’s Carolina-Miami game that really jumped out at me. It seems Carolina quarterback Jake Delhomme is just fine when throwing to the right side of the field, but horrible when throwing to the left or middle.
This trend isn’t anything new. Twelve of the 14 interceptions Delhomme has thrown this season have been on the left side or in the middle of the field. Here’s a breakdown of Delhomme’s directional passing from Thursday night and it does not include the two times he spiked the ball.
