The start of the league year is approaching rapidly and I’ve got the numbers on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' salary cap situation.
Although the Bucs are likely to create more cap room by releasing some players or restructuring some contracts, the team already is in pretty good shape.
The league-wide salary cap will be $133 million. But Tampa Bay’s adjusted cap is $139.8 million due to carryover money from last season.
The Bucs currently have $120,978,242 committed toward the 2014 cap. The bottom line is that at the moment the Bucs currently have $18,791,539 in 2014 cap space.
