16-0: Brees has been there before

It’s not too early to talk about the possibility of the Saints going 16-0 because a lot of New Orleans fans have been discussing that for weeks.
Although being 10-0 is uncharted territory for the franchise, it’s not foreign to all the Saints. ESPN Stats & Information passed on a little nugget that shows quarterback Drew Brees has been there before.
In his senior year at Westlake High School, Brees led his team to a 16-0 record to win the 1996 Class 5A Division II Texas state championship. In fact, Brees was 28-0-1 as a starter in his career at the Austin high school.
