Don’t get your hopes too high for a return by Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan and running back Michael Turner. They didn’t practice Wednesday. And the news gets even worse. Starters John Abraham, Jonathan Babineaux, Jamaal Anderson, Chris Houston and Sam Baker also did not participate.

New Orleans linebacker Scott Fujita practiced for the first time since he was diagnosed with a staph infection and missed the last two games. It was on a limited basis and Fujita still might be another week away from playing in a game. Cornerback Jabari Greer also remained out of practice and fellow cornerback Tracy Porter went on a limited basis.

Quarterback Jake Delhomme still isn’t practicing. Once again, I think we’re still at least one game away from him playing and, even then, it might not be as a starter.

Tampa Bay receiver Michael Clayton still hasn’t returned to practice.
