Heavy rain, heavy Brees not a good combination

TAMPA, Fla. -- You can't really question the Saints sticking with the pass in a game where heavy rain started late in the first quarter.

After all, they haven't had much of a running game all season. But it's pretty obvious the weather did have a major impact on quarterback Drew Brees. Just look at his quarter-by-quarter passer rating:
