Had a very good question from a reader after Julius Peppers blocked an extra-point attempt in Carolina's victory over Tampa Bay Monday night. The reader asked where Peppers ranked in terms of blocked kicks (field goals and point-after tries) since entering the league in 2002.
I ran the question past our fine team at ESPN Stats & Analysis and got the answer.
Peppers has seven career blocks. That ranks him second to Shaun Rogers, who has nine in the same span. Langston Walker ranks third with five. Flozell Adams, Richard Seymour and Israel Idonije each have four blocks since 2002.
