It's not often you get to write about a guy named Vitamin, so I'm going to take the opportunity while I've got it.

According to Elias Sports Bureau, the Saints made history today as four players (Robert Meachem, Deuce McAllister, Mike Bell and Pierre Thomas) each scored a rushing touchdown in the first half against the Lions.

The last time that happened was Nov. 18, 1951 by the Rams in a victory against the New York Yankees (yes, the Yankees). The four players who scored that day were Dan Towler, Jerry Williams, Dick Hoerner and, of course, Vitamin Smith.
