Matt Ryan by the numbers
By Pat Yasinskas
ATLANTA – Courtesy of ESPN Stats & Information, we’ve got a few numerical nuggets on Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan.
In Thursday’s victory against Baltimore, Ryan became the first Atlanta quarterback to pass for 300 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in a game since Chris Chandler in 2000.
White’s 32 completions without an interception also represent the most ever against the Ravens. Dave Brown had 28 in 1997 and Brett Favre and Steve McNair each had 27 in 2001.
Ryan also won his 14th straight home start and is 18-1 in his career in the Georgia Dome. In his next home start, Nov. 28 against Green Bay, White will have a chance to tie the record for most wins by a quarterback in his first 20 home starts since the NFL-AFL merger. Dallas’ Danny White set the record by going 19-1 in his first 20 starts at home.
