Falcons and Buccaneers get 'flexed'
By Pat Yasinskas
Little by little, the NFC South is getting more attention on a national basis.
The latest example comes courtesy of the Atlanta Falcons, who said their Dec. 5 game at Tampa Bay has been “flexed’’ to a 4:15 p.m. ET start. The game originally was scheduled to start at 1 p.m., but it was chosen for the higher-profile time slot because it’s a matchup of two teams very much in the NFC South race. The game will be carried on Fox.
The Bucs already have had this week’s game at Baltimore flexed to a 4:15 p.m. start.
