Glancing over McShay's seven-round mock
By Pat Yasinskas
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- In this Insider post, Todd McShay and the folks at Scouts Inc. did a seven-round mock draft, which must have taken forever to put together.
No big surprises early on, although I do find it very interesting McShay has Clemson defensive end Da'Quan Bowers falling all the way to No. 27 and the Atlanta Falcons. Bowers was a guy many projected as the No. 1 overall pick when the whole draft process first got rolling. But Bowers’ stock appears to be falling thanks to concerns about his knee.
I scanned through the entire mock draft and glanced at all the picks for each NFC South team. I’m not allowed to share them all, but you’re welcome to take a look. I’ll throw out one bone. I like where it has the Falcons getting a running back. It comes later in the draft, but I like the player and think he could fit nicely into Atlanta’s offense.
