Colclough's arrest won't help roster chances

We're still at least several hours away from teams announcing roster cuts, but Carolina's Ricardo Colclough might have sealed his own fate.

The Carolina cornerback has been charged with driving while impaired. Colclough already was somewhat on the bubble. He was competing for the fourth or fifth cornerback spot, but his ability as a return man might have been his biggest positive because returner Ryne Robinson has been sidelined much of the preseason.

The Panthers generally don't put up with much off-field trouble, especially with fringe players, and the incident won't help Colclough's stock as the team trims its roster.
