Atlanta’s Roddy White has reclaimed sole possession of the league lead in dropped passes, but he’s starting to get some strong competition from within his own division.

White had a costly drop in Sunday’s loss to New Orleans. The ball went off his hands and was intercepted by the Saints. According to ESPN Stats & Information, that gives White eight drops for the season.

White had led the league in drops for most of the season, but Indianapolis tight end Dallas Clark tied him last week. Clark is now second with seven drops.

Tampa Bay receiver Mike Williams now has moved into a tie with Cleveland running back Montario Hardesty for third place with six drops.

Tampa Bay receiver Arrelious Benn and tight end Kellen Winslow are among a large group of players tied for No. 6 with four drops each. New Orleans tight end Jimmy Graham also has four drops.

The Buccaneers have now moved into the league lead for team drops with 21. Atlanta is tied for No. 3 with 18 drops. The Saints are tied for No. 14 with 13 drops.

The Panthers are tied for No. 21 with 13 drops.
