Suspension will cost Aqib Talib $435,882.35
By Pat Yasinskas
Aqib Talib's four-game suspension will cost the Tampa Bay cornerback $435,882.35.
That’s the total amount of four game checks for Talib, who was suspended for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.
This isn’t the first time Talib’s off-field woes have cost him big money. Talib previously served a one-game suspension for an altercation with a taxi driver. That cost Talib a game check, but, more importantly, the previous suspension kicked in a clause in Talib’s contract that required him to forfeit $2.8 million in salary escalators.
