Falcons report: Tony Gonzalez not on field
By Vaughn McClure
FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Atlanta Falcons returned to the practice field Tuesday, and tight end Tony Gonzalez was not present during the viewing portion of the night session.
Gonzalez has been battling a toe injury for the past few weeks, but it hasn't caused him to miss any game action. He was listed as questionable for the past two games yet still played.
Also at practice, rookie defensive end Malliciah Goodman remained sidelined with a calf injury. Goodman missed the past two games due to the injury.
The Falcons announced a roster move before Tuesday's practice, elevating offensive tackle Terren Jones from the practice squad. Wide receiver Brian Robiskie was waived to make room for Jones on the 53-man roster.
The Falcons face the Buffalo Bills in Toronto on Sunday.
