A turning point for Saints?
By Pat Yasinskas
LANDOVER, Md. -- So far, the storyline in this game has been more than predictable.
The Saints, coming off a Monday night game against the Patriots that was draining emotionally and physically, started off pretty flat. Give the Redskins credit for playing pretty well.
But what’s the old line about water finding its own level? I think we’re going to see that in the second half. We’ve seen it before with the Saints. Remember the Miami game?
I don’t think the Redskins can play this well for an entire game. And I don’t think the Saints can be quiet for an entire game.
Anybody else think that wild play near the end of the first half, where Robert Meachem recovered a fumble on a Drew Brees interception and returned it for a touchdown, might mark a bit of a turning point?
