ATLANTA -- Couple of interesting players among the Bucs' inactives beyond quarterback Jeff Garcia, who we've already reported will sit today because of a calf injury.
Joining him on the sideline will be wide receiver Joey Galloway. Consider this another sign that Galloway's days with the Bucs are numbered. He was Tampa Bay's No. 1 receiver coming into the season, but he was held back throughout the preseason with an injury. In the meantime, Antonio Bryant took over as the No. 1 receiver and became Tampa Bay's top offensive weapon and Michael Clayton claimed the No. 2 spot.
Since returning to action, Galloway's playing time has been very limited and it's almost certain he doesn't factor into the team's future plans.
Also inactive today is defensive tackle Chris Hovan because of a knee injury. The Bucs will start Jimmy Wilkerson in his place.
Along with Garcia and Hovan, the other inactives are: Josh Johnson (third quarterback), receiver Dexter Jackson, running back Noah Herron and offensive lineman Jeremy Zuttah.
