Numbers show Delhomme's value

A lot of people didn't realize the true value of Carolina quarterback Jake Delhomme until he went down with an elbow injury last season. Without him, the Panthers fell apart and went 7-9, but a healthy Delhomme could be enough to put Carolina into the playoffs this year.

Delhomme's not flashy, but he's a winner. The proof is in the numbers. Delhomme has the best career record of any NFC South quarterback who has started at least 10 games. Here's a look at the division's quarterbacks and their career records.
