Let’s take a quick run through some news and notes from around the division:
Former Falcon Deion Sanders said it’s Super Bowl or bust for the team. I think that’s a pretty fair assessment and a lot of people in the organization feel the same way. In fact, there will be more on that theme in my Camp Confidential profile that will run later today.
Center Ryan Kalil, who missed most of last season with a foot injury, is optimistic that he’ll return to full health. That would be a big boost for the offensive line because Kalil and left tackle Jordan Gross are the only members of that unit with blue-chip talent.
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Mike Triplett writes that Jimmy Graham should become the league’s highest-paid tight end whenever the team gets around to giving him a new contract. That probably will mean an average of at least $9 million a year. The Saints have salary-cap issues, but they have to find a way to lock up Graham. He already is one of the league’s top tight ends. He still is young and is only going to keep getting better.
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
The Bucs will put their pads on for the first time for Saturday night’s practice, which will be held at Raymond James Stadium and is open to the public.
