Around the NFC West: Resuming OTAs

Around the NFC West: May 28, 2013

Good morning, NFC West. The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers both have organized team activities (OTA) scheduled for Tuesday. Both sessions are open to reporters.

That means we'll have fresh material for consideration as the day progresses, always welcome this time of year.

Last week, the Seahawks' OTAs turned into a referendum on a recent string of player suspensions. Football should carry more of the conversation this time around.

The 49ers, meanwhile, will continue to work through their issues at wide receiver after losing Michael Crabtree indefinitely. That situation will continue to command our attention.

We should have a deeper headline stack to run through beginning Wednesday. For now, though, pickings are slim coming out of a quiet Memorial Day Weekend.
