Late updates: Forsett hurt, Warner waits

The Cardinals probably will not know until Sunday whether Kurt Warner will start at quarterback.

Warner surprised them last week when he removed himself from the lineup shortly before kickoff. That situation makes it tough for the Cardinals to count on Warner this far out from the Sunday night kickoff.

A few other quick injury updates:

  • Seahawks running back Justin Forsett "tweaked" a quadriceps in practice Friday, putting his status in question. Julius Jones' return from injury this week gives the team enough depth to limit Forsett's snaps if necessary.

  • 49ers coach Mike Singletary said left tackle Joe Staley is doing squats and closer to returning. Looks like he should be back for the Dec. 14 game against Arizona. He is questionable for Sunday.

  • For the Rams, running back Steven Jackson (back) is questionable. Fullback Mike Karney and right tackle Jason Smith will not play, but center Jason Brown (knee) and right guard Richie Incognito (foot) appear on schedule to play (both are probable). Jackson gutted it out against Seattle in Week 12. I would expect him to give it a try in Week 13 as well.
