So here's where things stand for the Seahawks heading into Day 4 of free agency:
The Seahawks had 15 unrestricted free agents. Five have signed deals elsewhere, four have re-signed with Seattle and six are pending.
The five who have left so far are wide receiver Golden Tate, right tackle Breno Giacomini, defensive tackle Clinton McDonald, safety Chris Maragos and defensive end O'Brien Schofield (but his deal with the New York Giants is on hold over an issue with his knee).
Top priority of the pending free agents has to be Hauschka. He is one of the league's best kickers and the Seahawks need to keep him.
Seattle also had three restricted free agents. Two have been re-signed -- safety Jeron Johnson and offensive lineman Lemuel Jeanpierre. The other is pending -- receiver Doug Baldwin, but it's highly likely he will return since the Seahawks placed a second-round tender on him.
Seattle probably will try to get tight end Zach Miller to restructure his contract, which would count $7 million against the 2014 salary cap if it is not changed.
The Seahawks have signed one player from outside the organization-- wide receiver Taylor Price, who missed the last two NFL seasons with injuries.
Seattle brought in free-agent defensive tackle Jason Hatcher for a visit, but he signed with the Redskins Thursday. Seattle also brought in tight end Jermichael Finley, but there is no word on if he passed his physical after undergoing spinal fusion on two vertebra in his neck four months ago.
