RENTON, Wash. -- The Seahawks signed nine undrafted rookie free agents, including University of Washington quarterback Keith Price and University of Texas defensive end Jackson Jeffcoat.

Other free-agent signees include Southern Cal strong safety Dion Bailey, Penn State offensive tackle Garry Gilliam, Oklahoma guard Bronson Irwin, South Carolina cornerback Jimmy LeGree, Montana linebacker Brock Coyle, Eastern Washington defensive tackle Andru Pulu and Central Arkansas tight end Chase Dixon.

Jeffcoat (6-foot-3, 245 pounds) is the son of former Dallas Cowboys defensive end Jim Jeffcoat. Jackson was the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2013 when he had 13 sacks and 82 tackles.

Price (6-1, 200) was a three-year starter for the Huskies, passing for 8,921 yards and 75 touchdowns.

Bailey (6-0, 200) left USC after his junior year expecting to be a fifth- or sixth-round draft choice. He played linebacker and safety for the Trojans.

Gilliam (6-6, 305) played tight end until his senior year when he moved to tackle. He graduated with honors from Penn State in December as a double major in advertising and public relations management.

Irwin (6-4, 315) played both guards spots, along with right tackle, in his senior year for the Sooners.

Pulu (6-1, 320) started his college career at Washington, but was dismissed from the team after he was involved in a fight and convicted of second-degree assault.

Dixon (6-5, 240) played both wide receiver and tight end in college.

LeGree (6-0, 185) was a three-year starter for the Gamecocks. He was second on the team in tackles as a senior with 55 stops, including 41 solo tackles. He also had three interceptions for 5 tackles for losses.

Coyle (6-1, 235) was Montana’s co-captain and led the team in tackles last season with 125 stops. He had an impressive pro day when he ran a 4.6 40.
