"I can't wait to get back to Seattle because this field was awful," Baldwin said on Q13FOX Seattle after the game. "I don't know if you guys noticed, but the receivers and tight ends were slipping all over the place. This field is terrible."
The receiver who had the best night for the Seahawks was rookie Paul Richardson, the second-round pick from Colorado who had a bit of a homecoming in his first NFL outing.
Richardson had four receptions for 37 yards. None of them displayed his amazing speed, but he made some nice cuts on sideline moves and broke a few tackles, showing some toughness. Richardson, who is thin at 6-0, 180, also made a couple of nice blocks.
Helfet made a 20-yard catch from Tarvaris Jackson on a third-and-20 play in the second quarter. Allen, an undrafted rookie from Southern University, made a 25-yard catch in the second half from Terrelle Pryor.
It probably will go down to the final preseason game before the Seahawks make a decision on the third tight end spot.
