Rams' Jackson reflects on evolution

Jeff Chadiha's piece on Steven Jackson captures what is different about the Rams running back this season.

"I've learned how to go to the coaches in private [to talk about issues] and that has helped me gain more respect," Jackson tells Chadiha. "I've gone from being a look-at-me guy to being one who is a true professional."

Jackson easily could have sat out the season's final month after suffering a herniated disc in his back. He has continued to run hard despite the injury and despite an offensive line that has crumbled around him. The standard he sets gives the Rams dignity in defeat.
