I've had a few questions about Anquan Boldin's ankle injury.
The latest injury, suffered in Week 17, affects Boldin's left ankle. He previously missed time this season after suffering a sprained right ankle.
That means Boldin did not reinjure the ankle. This is a new injury. It is also a high-ankle sprain, according to what Boldin told the Arizona Republic. Boldin also suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee.
High-ankle sprains often sideline players for several weeks. Boldin has come back from them quickly in the past. We can safely say he will not be full strength if he plays against the Packers in the wild-card playoff game Sunday.
