MEQUON, Wis. -- Anquan Boldin could be back on the practice field for Arizona next week after an MRI showed no significant damage to his left hamstring, the team said Friday night.
The Cardinals lost another receiver when third-round rookie Early Doucet left practice with a hamstring injury of unknown severity.
The Cardinals' depth at receiver is strong enough to compensate at this point. Their depth along the offensive line could be tested, however, now that center Al Johnson is out until the regular season.
The team claimed former Boston College center Pat Ross off waivers Friday. He began his career with Seattle and could help Arizona get through camp. The Cardinals' third-team center, Scott Peters, is out for the season with a knee injury.
