The Karlos Dansby media tour has made another stop.

"To be wanted, to have a team that really needs me and wants me there in the organization -- that's my biggest thing right now for this offseason," Dansby told Miami radio station WQAM. "A team to step up to the plate and say, 'Dansby, we want you. Dansby, we need you. You are our type of guy and we are going to ride with you.' Just ride with me man and let me be that guy."

Sportsradiointerviews.com has a partial transcript and audio link for the WQAM interview. Dansby previously reached out to the Giants, among other teams, during a conversation with Sirius.

Will an NFL team let Dansby "be that guy" by building its defense around him? The nature of his position -- Dansby is a 3-4 linebacker without a track record as a pass-rusher -- makes that a little tough. But a team could still make him a building block with a lucrative long-term deal. It takes only one team.
