BurlesonNate Burleson is heading back to the NFC North after four seasons in Seattle.
The unrestricted free-agent receiver has agreed to terms on a five-year deal with the Lions, ESPN's John Clayton reports.
The Seahawks could have kept Burleson's rights by naming him their franchise player, but they didn't like the corresponding $9.5 million price tag.
Burleson would have helped the Seahawks. He can be a good player. Injuries have slowed him and Burleson simply hasn't produced at a high level consistently, however. That surely worked against him.
