Cardinals ran on Rams, but Haslett has plan

The Rams apparently feel more confident in their ability to contain Cardinals running back Tim Hightower after making adjustments following Hightower's 109-yard performance at the Edward Jones Dome in Week 9.
Rams coach Jim Haslett touched on the issue earlier in the week. He hit on it again when speaking with reporters in St. Louis following practice Thursday. Haslett also thinks getting Chris Draft into the lineup at middle linebacker should help.
Haslett on slowing Hightower: "Well, we just have to tackle him better. We've got some things coverage-wise that will take care of that. He did a good job. I think he kind of caught us off-guard and since then, they've gotten behind and really haven't used him that much, but they'll run him this week."
Haslett on Draft's return from injury: "It'll help, yeah. He's a good run defender. He'll settle everything down inside and he'll do fine against him."
Teams always talk about stopping the run, but the Cardinals' ground game might rank down the list of the Rams' priorities Sunday. Arizona might need more balance to defeat the elite teams, but the passing game should be enough to beat the Rams if Arizona plays well.
