Rams, Seahawks finding deep trouble
Posted by ESPN.com's Mike Sando
The Rams and Seahawks are battling for a dubious distinction with four games remaining. Each team has allowed 23 pass plays of 30 yards or longer.
The Jaguars rank third with 19 allowed, followed by the 49ers and Lions with 16 apiece. The Steelers have allowed the fewest (five).
The Rams figure to give up more against the Cardinals. The Seahawks could also be vulnerable if their flagging pass rush can't pressure Matt Cassel.
Which brings me to another thought: Which players appear most vulnerable in individual matchups involving NFC West teams in Week 14?
My short list includes Seahawks center Steve Vallos (working against Patriots nose tackle Vince Wilfork) and whichever Seahawks cornerback winds up defending Randy Moss, who remains ticked at himself for dropping passes last week. Surely there are others.
