A live feed from Sam Bradford's pro day showed the Oklahoma quarterback touching base with Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo following the workout.

The handshake appeared firm, a sign of good arm strength. The eye contact appeared genuine, revealing high character.

Seriously, there wasn't much to draw from the online images.

We should expect to hear lots about how well Bradford performed. That much was predictable, particularly after Bradford made it through the workout without any obvious indications his shoulder injury would be an issue. That was presumably his top priority.

Injury concerns have to stand out as the No. 1 concern for teams interested in Bradford. Bradford took hits from a linebacker and defensive back on the two plays that caused injuries to his throwing shoulder at Oklahoma. Neither collision appeared spectacular by NFL standards. Rams quarterbacks have been taking harder hits regularly.

Were those injuries fluky or were they an indication Bradford could have problems holding up physically? He appears bigger and stronger now than when he played.

After watching Bradford throw Monday, I wanted to know how he would perform after Darnell Dockett fell on him. The Rams will find out soon enough if they make Bradford the first player chosen in the 2010 draft.
